Innovation Inspired By Natural Fabrics

This is a truly groundbreaking changing robe, created with innovative fabrics and materials made from organic, renewable sources with no petrochemicals. Bespoke and made to order in the UK, Dryrobe® PURE is designed to leave as light a footprint as possible, whilst still delivering the weatherproof performance needed to withstand the harshest elements.

BIO-BASED

A World First In Fabric

While the industry focuses on recycled plastics, we are looking further. The Dryrobe® PURE features the world’s first 98% bio-based, industrially compostable, innerpile fabric used for outdoor clothing.

The waterproof outer layer is crafted through high-density weaving of natural fibres. This provides the windproof and waterproof shield our users expect, but with the breathability and feel that only natural fabrics can offer.

This isn’t just a more “sustainable” version of a changing robe; it is a technical masterclass in utilising natural materials, proudly made in the UK. There is nothing like it out there.

Why Have We Created Dryrobe® PURE?

“Dryrobe® PURE is our most ambitious project to date. For a long time, creating something like this felt out of reach. It’s a huge challenge to balance new material science with the durability people need. While it would have been easier to stick with standard fabrics, we wanted to see if we could finally build the change robe we’ve always imagined - one where the performance fabrics are made from organic, renewable sources with no petrochemicals. This 98% bio-based version 1.0 is our first step, and just like when we debuted the original Dryrobe®, we’re putting our best work out there to see whats possible.”

This Is Just The Beginning…

At Dryrobe®, we are always looking for ways to improve and do things differently. This first release of PURE is about getting this world-first technology into the hands of our community. Version 1.0 is built for maximum performance and warmth. While we are already working on making future improvements, we wanted to launch this now to prove that this combination of renewable fabrics works in the real world. This is just the start of what we’re building.

As the first iteration of Dryrobe® PURE, we are continuously refining the design as we pioneer this new direction. This includes the weight of the product, which is more than our other weatherproof changing robes due to the density of the natural fabrics. These unique, high-performance fabrics also mean that the cost of PURE is higher than our other premium changing robes.

PURE FAQs

What Is Dryrobe® PURE?

A weatherproof changing robe whose main fabrics are built entirely from natural materials. It’s both a world first and a technical masterclass in what happens when you replace synthetic fabrics with organic, renewable sources with no petrochemicals.

Where Is Dryrobe® Pure Made?

Every PURE is manufactured right here in the UK. This helps reduce the carbon footprint and means they can be produced to order, helping to promote conscious consumerism.

How Much Does It Cost?

Each Dryrobe® PURE retails for £650. This price reflects both the cost of the cutting-edge, natural fabrics used and that they are currently made-to-order in the UK.

How Much Does It Weigh?

The Dryrobe® PURE weighs approximately 2.2kg (dependent on size), which is slightly more than other weatherproof changing robes. This is due to the innovative materials used to create.

How Long Will It Take For My Order To Arrive?

Due to the fact that each one is made to order in the UK, it currently takes approximately five months for the delivery of each Dryrobe® PURE.

Is Dryrobe® PURE Vegan?

Yes, it’s a fully vegan product.

What Colours Is PURE Available In?

It is currently available exclusively in Navy Blue.

Can I Change or Cancel My Order Once It’s Placed?

Because the Dryrobe® PURE is a bespoke garment made specifically for you, there is a very limited window for changes. Once the high-density natural fabrics have been cut and production has begun in our UK facility, we are unable to accept cancellations or modifications.

What Is The Returns Policy For The Dryrobe® PURE?

As this is a bespoke, made-to-order item, it is non-returnable and non-refundable unless a genuine manufacturing fault is present. We encourage all customers to verify their measurements against our specific PURE size guide before committing to a purchase.
